COSTUMES


The new theme is COSTUMES.
As always submissions to be sent to meowmagazine@hotmail.co.uk.
Artwork needs to be grayscale and A5 format.
Please send us anything that fits the theme (not just Halloween please!), we want Illustrations, Articles, Interviews, Poems, Photographs....Whatever you like!
Deadline is Monday 8th November.

After a very long summer break we are back again!

London Zine Symposium 2010


Meow are lucky enough to have bagged a stall at the brilliant London Zine Symposium event.
On the 29th May we will join other zine makers at the Rag Factory in Brick Lane from 12pm-6pm to sell Meow and a selection of wonderful wares produced by the super talented
Middlesex Illustration Students.
Get your money ready, it's gonna be a good one.

First Day at the Art Shop



We opened up the shop today and had a very successful turn out and raised a lot of cash for our degree show. We're open every day this week 11am-5pm until Friday so make the most of it and buy as much as you can before everything runs out.

Meow at the Old Art Shop

Posters will be going up around cat hill today informing all you lovely people that we are in charge of the old art shop and will be selling a lot of goodies and providing FREE BOOZE tomorrow! So don't miss out and use this as an excuse to complete your Meow zine collection by buying all of our past and present issues, and also kill two birds with one stone and contribute to raising money for our degree show.

Pets Issue

Are you ready for this? MEOW - IS - IN - COLOUR! We asked for some colourful submissions and we got them along with some very nice black and white images too. This is a ground breaking issue so snap one up for £2 while there's still time!

Sketchbooks Issue


Meow's Sketchbook issue went down very well, with plenty of great submissions and THREE interviews to keep you intellectually stimulated. This issue as a really good insight into how people like to keep their sketchbooks.

Cake Sale No.2

Our second cake sale was another great success - we sold quite a few of the fabulous new Sketchbooks issue on the day and lots of 2nd year illustrators contributed gorgeous cakes to sell! We made a fantastic £96.00 to be added to the money raised for our degree show next year so thanks to everyone who participated or bought something on the day.

Pictures from the Sketchbooks issue will be coming soon! For anyone yet to buy a copy it's a great one and can be purchased from Cat Hill illustration studio/airport lounge canteen or by emailing meowmagazine@hotmail.co.uk.

Our theme for the next issue is 'PETS' so as always get your contributions in too!!

Christmas Issue.....

Meow had a very Merry Christmas Issue....an envelope containing not just our super December edition with fantastically festive illustrations, an interview, recipe and diy cut out to name a few of the treats inside there was also a free gift made by one of the editorial team.
